Brilliant! I'm already a fan, so was expecting to enjoy this song, and I wasn't disappointed. The exited little bubble in my diaphragm stayed there for the whole song. In other words, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

about
“Upside Down is semi-inspired by the series Stranger Things. It relates to people being in situations that they can’t see a way out of, and it’s about asking people for help. It’s about being in an ‘upside down’ universe and seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. Empathy is the core emotion we hope people take away from this. The soundscapes are somewhat eerie and we felt Halloween was the perfect time to launch this track as an interlude to our new material from album 2." - Felix Lawrie

BRUTAI - UPSIDE DOWN
In the Upside Down we fall
I am waiting, I will wait for you
In the absence of all we’ve made
In the shadows where I’ll stay and hide
Waiting for the day (godless the same)
Waiting for the day
Now you see things through my eyes
And the gates await for you
In the Upside Down below
Where we’re alienated
Will you join the show?
In the absence of all this pain
There’s a place for you that’s waiting to be free
Now you see things through my eyes
Now you see what’s in my mind
And the gates await for you
And still we hold onto everything we behold
And you’re still there while I am barely breathing
Days remind me of you to lead me through
You got me spinning right beside you
You’ll never leave until I find you
In the Upside Down we’re all alone
Now you see things through my eyes
Now you see what’s in my mind
And the gates await for you
Now you see things through my eyes
Don’t leave me in the Upside Down

Immersion should excite people who appreciate this more recent wave of young progressive bands like Good Tiger. Animus Complex deliver the same impressive musicianship and soaring vocals I've come to expect from these higher tier acts without major label support. I think that the band really hits their stride best on the very The Mars Volta-ish "Infinite Conclusions."
